  1. You know those pesky little flies…they’re small, really fast and too hard to catch…and curious about every bit of you? They zoom off to something that grabs their attention to your relief… and the next second they’re at you again…and again… and again. Good role model…we can learn a thing or two from flies.

    • I did wonder where you were going with that 🙂 but, oooh yeah. In the immortal words of Kris Kristofferson from a barroom conversation with the devil,… “you’ve been readin’ my mail”.

    • Another dimension for sure I’m afraid Millie. Pictou, on the North Shore of Nova Scotia. Small community with a pulp mill that produces more dangerous emissions than any other in Canada.

  2. These pictures capture the truth. The unvarnished truth. Too bad the readers of your words cannot experience the wonderful, pungent aroma. On the first day I arrived in Pictou County years ago I was told, “you’ll get used to it”. Never did. Thankfully there is so much beauty everywhere else in NS.
